Today's Question - Joe Internet has just met a venture capitalist. The VC person has given him lots of dough. Joe I. wants to give a portion to 10 key employees. He decides on $100,000 which he divides on seniority. Each of the 10 employees joined one month after his predecessor. (So "A" has 11 months experience while "B" has 10 months, etc., etc.). Mr. Internet divides the $100,000 among these employees with the most senior getting the most and the newest the least. The increment between each increment is the same dollar amount. If the third newest employee gets $6,000, how much does each of the employees get? Cashin’s Comments September 12, 2017 Page 3 of 3
