Today's Question - A salesman is due into Squeedunk on the 5:00 p.m. train. He calls ahead for the hotel car to meet him at the station. But he catches the train before and arrives at 4:00 p.m. He starts walking to the hotel and is met by the car on the way. He gets to the hotel 20 minutes earlier than he originally was scheduled. How long did he walk?
Reveal Answer
Answer - (Okay get the envelopes ready for the hate mail - the followers of Pyrrho of Elis won't buy this!) The time he saved has everything to do with taxi time. Since the cab met him part way and took him back part way - and it saved 20 minutes - that means the cab met him 10 minutes from the hotel. So he must have walked for 50 minutes.Doesn't match Missing info Like question
